The question that many of us struggle with is whether God exist or its just some history. John 1:1 shows us that "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." This means that God existed before time. Verse 3 is proof that without God nothing would have existed John 1:3 - KJV 3. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. Genesis 1:1 is a narrative of how everything was before time. It speaks about how the world had no form but the Spirit of the Lord existed and He created everything into existence.
It is no doubt that at times our faith is tested and we find ourselves questioning the existence of God. We need to believe in God and that Jesus was crucified and on the third day He rose again. God exists in our lives, He is love, John 3:16 speaks about how He sacrificed His only Son so that we could find love. When we believe in God, we believe that Jesus is alive and He able to save us from our sinful and immoral ways. John 11:26. When we have Christ in our hearts we have love, the world would be a better place with love(Jesus Christ) The existence of God and His love in our lives give us self conviction to share the same love with our dear neighbours and the communities we live in.
