Faith Conquers

Faith, resilience, and a focus on God's grace are essential for sharing the gospel in difficult circumstances

Faith, resilience, and unwavering trust in God's grace were the keys to sharing the gospel during our recent evangelism outreach in the remote Molelema village in South Africa's North West province. From the moment we arrived, it seemed nature itself conspired against us - relentless rain rendered the dirt roads impassable, forcing us to wait out the storm for hours as floodwaters receded.

Undeterred, we pressed on, only to hastily change our crusade venue at the last minute due to the weather. And on the final day, our trials reached a climax when our ministry bus became hopelessly stuck in the mud, requiring an arduous two-hour effort by our devoted volunteers to push it free. Yet through it all, our faith never wavered; we relied on God's strength, not our own, knowing He would see us through any obstacle. In the end, our resilience was rewarded with a blessed weekend of ministry, as the precious people of Molelema eagerly embraced the Good News - a testament to the unstoppable power of the gospel in the hands of those whose zeal for the Kingdom cannot be diminished by earthly hardship.

I've witnessed firsthand the incredible impact of Pastor Zaido's team as they share the Gospel through their unique approach of running exercises in our community. What began as an innovative outreach has become a powerful tool for transformation.
As they run, Pastor Zaido's team engages people from all walks of life, sharing Christ's love and offering encouragement through prayer. I've seen individuals struggling with addiction, depression, and hopelessness find new life and purpose in Christ through their ministry.

One remarkable story is of a young man on the verge of giving up. He had lost his job, his relationships were strained, and he felt he had hit rock bottom. But when Pastor Zaido's team met him during their runs and shared the Gospel, praying with him, he began attending their Bible studies. In just a few months, this young man's life has been completely transformed - he's found a new job, restored relationships, and is now serving as a community leader.

Pastor Zaido's team is a shining example of creatively and innovatively sharing the Gospel. Their dedication to spreading Christ's love through running exercises has inspired countless lives, and I'm honored to witness their impactful ministry firsthand.

Jesus said to him, "I will go and heal him." The centurion replied, "Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed (Mathew 8:8). This was Mthandeni Sibisi's prayer for a month.

His son was admitted in hospital and spent a month in ICU, you can imagine how difficult this was for a father who loves his son. The pressure, the struggle above all the hope that his son would rise up again. The bible says in Jeremiah 33- "Call to me and I will answer". After a fight in prayer, trust and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, Mathendeni's son was discharged from hospital. God completely healed him and restored his health.

When ever we are faced with difficult challenges, we need to know that we have a friend in Jesus who is able to give us hope and restore our joy and happiness. We need to understand that Jesus changes everything.
