Jesus Christ being the King and Lord, was humble enough to be born in a manger. 
He came in human form, so that we could attest to who God is. He never lived a very fancy life, and he died a poor death so that every person who believes in him should have a genuine opportunity to be an heir of the Kingdom of God.
Mathew 20:28 says "just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Everyone has been given an opportunity to live a different life that is full of love. A genuine opportunity to experience what it's like to be called a child of God, an opportunity to unlock the blessing of the Lord upon our lives. For everyone who believes that Jesus Christ is Lord, is an heir of the Kingdom of God.
