Spoonful Of Kindness

“It is important to love others within our communities so that we get to understand their experiences......”

Not everyone you meet in the street has everything. To some its money without peace while to others its peace without money. It is important to love others within our communities so that we get to understand their experiences. God knows the desires of our hearts so rebukes us to seek His Kingdom first in all that we do Matt 6:33. But some times we do not need much to share the love of Jesus and show an act of kindness towards the people that surrounds us and our communities.
It is God who satisfies us and gives us what we need Psalm 107:9 "For He has satisfied the thirsty soul,And the hungry soul He has filled with what is good".

Phomas is a black dominated community in Sharpville near Vereeniging. Historically  Sharpeville is well known over a massacre incident which took place on March 21 in 1960 where police fired on a crowd of Black people, killing or wounding some 250 of them. This was one of the first and most violent demonstrations against apartheid in South Africa.
Every Home For Christ South Africa team went into the streets of Phomas with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The team has also been involved in various initiatives to share the love of Jesus.

The soup kitchen initiative in Phomas does more than just offer food. It has helped restore hope and dignity to Phomas community and also reshape the minds of many by creating an opportunity to learn more about the experiences and challenges of others, fostering empathy and understanding within the community. Through this initiative, the Every Home Vaal Hub team has had notable relations with the community and a significant impact in sharing the Truth and love of Jesus.
