With the economic instability, limited financial resources and scarcity of jobs in some parts of the Vaal, many people cannot afford luxurious lifestyles let alone the basics. Every Home for Christ South Africa together with the Global Church of Jesus Christ, Light of life international Ministries and the newly planted Tshepiso Soupkitchen have initiated a soup kitchen which reaches around one hundred and fifty(150) children and thirty(30) to fifty(50 )  adults each day.

The initiative is done every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday where they also reach out to Kgahliso Children’s Home. This initiative has seen a great transformation in the Vaal area as many people are coming to the knowledge of Jesus Christ and to the realization of the need for a personal relationship with Christ
