To many of us 2021 was a year filled with trials and tribulations. Some lost family members some lost jobs, some lost businesses. The pandemic caused a lot of disruptions to our lives that some lost their faith along the way. Psalm 11: 3 says "When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?". At this point the only thing we need to do is start rebuilding those ruined foundations. Isaiah 40:31 "but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint". No matter how much damage the pandemic caused to our lives, God gives us strength to rebuild again, to be stronger again.

A better perspective would be that 2020-2021 was a time for us to reflect on how reliable our foundations are, Matthew 7:24-25, and on what ground they are build on. I believe that 2022 is year for us to rebuild our lives and make sure that we have a solid foundation which is Jesus Christ. Even when the storms come, the foundation will remain. Romans 9:33, Psalm 18:2. We can still find hope again in Jesus, and have a better foundation than before, we can have a better life that before.
