With some informal settlements and sitting near the Rietspruit stream, Barrage community is a small township that would strike one as an impoverished community. With unfeigned demeanour, the people of this community can be differentiated from the rest of South African communities. The ambience in this community will snatch you with relaxation forgetting you are in a township location. Although the vibe would later evoke a "not my town" feeling, you will be drowned in its lively mood. Every Home for Christ South Africa team took to the streets of this community the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

After the Home to Home outreach in Barrage, the Every Home for Christ South Africa team went back for a follow-up outreach using the Open Air and Jesus Film (Barrage for Jesus). It was such a great fruitful experience to share the love of Jesus Christ as the community recognised our efforts and embraced us to share the Gospel. Every person who heard the Gospel received it and gave thanks to the Lord.
The outreach was so effective such that, the community requested us to come back in this community and reach out to more souls with the Gospel. Some even opened their doors for prayer groups. It is always exciting to see God's Word being received with both hands after an evangelism outreach. Surely God will transform the community of Barrage to become a Kingdom community, all glory to Jesus for the positive responses.
