Mazista is a farm area and has an elevation of 1,365 metres. Mazista is situated nearby Doornkom, and north of Tuin se Kop between Koster and Swaartrogens in the North West Province of South Africa.
The area is famous for the racially-motivated shootings of 2008, when teenager Johan Nell shot dead four people and injured others. The area has an estimated population of around 3000 with poor education and lack of services.

The EHCSA team initiated an outreach and training in the area through home to home and street evangelism which resulted in more than 250 homes being reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The initiative attracted more than eight hundred and seventy five (875) people through the open air and Jesus film outreach.
Surely we can't give excuses to sharing the love of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in every area in our nation. The EHCSA outreach saw close to one hundred and sixty (160) people responding positively to the gospel. Among these people is a woman sangoma who was led to Christ and gave her life to Christ.

The harvest is truly plentiful all we need to do is labour on in fulfilling the Great Comission.
